PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant improving friction of a thin film and a boundary layer.SOLUTION: A lubricant contains major amount of a base oil and small amount of an additive agent package. The additive agent package contains a friction correcting agent component selected from acyl N-methyl glycine derivatives such as oleoyl buthyl sarcosinate, lauroyl ethyl sarcosinate, oleoyl 2-ethylhexyl sarcosinate, oleoyl 2-hydroxyethyl sarcosinate, lauroyl 2-hydroxyethyl sarcosinate, N-oleoyl-N'-2-ethylhexyl sarcosinate, N-oleoyl-N'-2 methoxyethyl sarcosinamide, N-oleoyl-N'-3 dimethylaminopropyl sarcosinamide, N-oleoyl-N',N' bis(2-hydroxyethyl)sarcosinamide, and sodium lauroyl sarcosine. |
