PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ranging method and a computer program product.SOLUTION: The ranging method includes: driving a movable body to move the movable body to a first position with respect to an object; obtaining a first image by acquiring an image of the object at the first position with an image acquisition module provided in the movable body; obtaining a first feature pattern by performing feature analysis of the first image; driving the movable body to move the movable body from the first position to a second position with respect to the object; obtaining a second image by acquiring an image of the object at the second position with the image acquisition module; obtaining a second feature pattern by performing feature analysis of the second image; and calculating a distance between the movable body located at the second position and the object due to a distance between the first position and the second position and a dimensional change between the first feature pattern and the second feature pattern by using a processor. The first feature pattern and the second feature pattern are object images of the same feature of the object. |
