<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain reduction in a communication capacity by employing a way to perform in-phase combination of transmission signals from a plurality of tracking antennas if part of propagation paths become unusable due to obstacles or the like in a satellite communication system that performs communication using the propagation paths, in parallel, formed between the plurality of tracking antennas and a plurality of satellite stations.SOLUTION: A mobile station device comprises: first means that makes a tracking antenna i forming an unusable propagation path among a plurality of m propagation paths tracking another satellite station j; and second means that performs phase control to multiplex and modulate a signal to be transmitted by the tracking antenna i and a signal to be transmitted by a tracking antenna j tracking the other satellite station j, and further to transmit the signals from each tracking antenna i, j to make in-phase combination performed, and changes a modulation scheme of a signal to be transmitted by each tracking antenna i, j to a modulation scheme with frequency utilization efficiency higher than modulation schemes applied to other propagation paths.</p> |
