<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information acquisition device, a projection device, and an object detector which are capable of suppressing the reduction of the accuracy of distance detection, even when a dot pattern has variation in luminance.SOLUTION: A projection optical system includes a DOE (diffractive optical element) converting laser light emitted from a laser light source into dot pattern light by diffraction and projects a predetermined dot pattern to a target area. The DOE is configured so that the luminance of a dot at the peripheral part of the target area is higher than the luminance of the dot at the central part of the target area. Thus, when performing pattern matching for a segment area around the outer side of the target area, the luminance of the dot included in the segment area of the peripheral part of the target area is increased so that the accuracy of the pattern matching is improved. Therefore, the accuracy of the distance detection of the object detector is enhanced.</p> |
