by a computing device, retrieving user information for a user of a social-networking system; by the computing device, determining device information for a device associated with the user; by the computing device, retrieving, based on the device information or the user information, content associated with the user; by the computing device, composing, using the retrieved content, a content board for use in a cover feed displayed on the device, wherein the content board comprises a background image; and by the computing device, sending the content board to the device.
