The present technology relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a recording medium, whereby it is possible to easily carry out an information input. The information processing device comprises: an acquisition unit which acquires an input signal which is generated in response to an input operation of a user which designates a prescribed location within an image which is displayed in a display unit; and a display control unit which displays, superpositioned with the image, a selection image for allowing the user to select display information which is newly displayed in a region corresponding to the location. The display control unit controls the display of the display unit such that no overlap is present between the region and the selection image. The present technology may be applied to such as a terminal comprising a touch panel. |
