<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately notify timing of singing start by displaying accurately music performance progress status even in a non-display area of vocal guide such as introduction and interlude and the like, where a singer does not necessarily pay attention to a display device at all times as each music piece has different performance time. <P>SOLUTION: Singing support display control means 40a displays a vocal guide 50 which indicates each tone length of a singing phrase based on guide melody data, and moves and displays a cursor 51 which indicates the present performance position of a music piece corresponding to a vocal guide display area where a singing phrase exists or a vocal guide non-display area where a singing phrase does not exist. On this occasion, in the vocal guide display area, the cursor 51 is moved and displayed at a predetermined constant speed.
