<p>Embodiments of the present invention provide a communication method, a base station and a user equipment. The communication method includes: sending, by a base station, a random access response message to a user equipment UE, where the random access response message includes a timing advance command, and a value T A of the timing advance command is N TA /(N*Ts), where, the N TA indicates the amount of the time alignment the UE, the N*Ts indicates a unit granularity for the UE to perform time alignment, the N is greater than 16, and the Ts indicates the smallest time unit. In the present invention, the unit granularity for the UE to perform time alignment may be enlarged, so that the UE can use a larger amount of the time alignment when performing the time alignment, thereby supporting the coverage of a cell with a long distance.</p> |
