In order for a gas hob (100) with an interior which is enclosed by a hob-covering panel (10) and a hob-base panel, wherein at least one air opening (40) is arranged for feeding supply air from above the hob-covering panel (10) into the interior of the gas hob (100) and/or for discharging exhaust air from the interior of the gas hob (100) in the region of the hob-covering panel (10), to be developed such that the channelling of air in the gas hob is optimized and the gas hob is protected as best as possible against the ingress of extraneous particles or liquids, it is proposed that - at least one grate (30), which is designed for carrying at least one food container, is arranged above and/or on the hob-covering panel (10) and - the air opening (40) is concealed by the grate (30). |
