The present invention relates to an ecological underwater weir in a filtering type, comprising: an upstream riverbed protection part (10) in which riverbed protection stones (11) are installed to cross both banks of river to be approximately a width of two meters; an ecology net installation unit (20), in which an ecology net is installed to cross the both banks of the river to be approximately a width of one meter downstream to be adjacent to the upstream riverbed protection part; a log underwater weir (30) installed downstream to be adjacent and formed with posts and logs; and a downstream riverbed protection part (40) installed downstream to be approximately a width of 10 meters by being connected to the log underwater weir. If a flow rate is not enough in a dry season, the underwater weir is overflowed while a flow speed of the river is decreased. A shoal jaw is installed on the upper surface of the underwater weir to prevent a riverbed in front of the underwater weir and oxygen in the water is increased as a head height is increased by the shoal jaw and an aeration action is actively performed.
