SEGMENT FOR CONTINUOUS CASTING

Provided is a segment for continuous casting. The segment for continuous casting comprises a segment upper frame and a segment lower frame having upper/lower rolls for rolling a slab; and a clamping cylinder provided for the lower frame. According to the present invention, an optimal cylinder can be constructed as equipment interference is not occurred without being bound by an installation distance between cylinders even when the size of the clamping cylinder for increasing a slab roll force is expanded by improving an arrangement structure of the clamping cylinder and as the installation location of the clamping cylinder is easily adjusted. The quality can be improved through the slab rolling as the rolling force of a segment input side and a segment output side is stably maintained.
