<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device in which display of icons etc normally faces an operator thereby allowing the operator to easily visually recognize the icons and an operation method by a direction button is not changed even when the operator change the way of holding the display control device i.e. a vertically long and horizontally long way. <P>SOLUTION: In a digital camera 100 which is an example of the display control device with a display part 28 which displays an image and the plurality of icons 7001-7013, predetermined icons among the icons 7001-7013 are displayed on the display part 28 so as to be sequentially selected by direction buttons 7014-7017 of a four direction button 74. An inclination sensor 120 detects an angle at which the display part 28 rotates using an axis perpendicular to a display surface of the display part 28 as a central axis, and a system control part 50 rotates the icons 7001-7013 by unit of icon according to the detected angle, and the rotated icons can be selected in the same order by the same direction buttons as those before rotation even after the rotation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
