<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed refrigerant that is easy to handle because of almost free of plugging of a pipe due to water freezing and of behavior as a pseudoazeotrope similar to R410A, and has an ozone-depletion factor of 0 and a global warming potential of 2.5 or less, and can be exchanged from an existing refrigerant without changing specifications of equipment.SOLUTION: A mixed refrigerant contains propane, propylene, and isobutane as an inevitable component, and has a mixing ratio of propane and propylene of 50:50, a water content of 5 wt.ppm or less, and a ratio of propylene and propane of 10% or less in a vapor phase. Hydrogen sulfide or ammonia is added as an odor component in manufacturing the mixed refrigerant and removed together with water molecules by a molecular sieve.</p> |
