Injection moulding process for manufacturing a container and mould for making the same

The method involves simultaneous injection of plastics material at two side injection points (6, 8), where the side injection points are placed opposite to each other, and each injection point is located at a point corresponding to one of two opposite sides of a finished tank. An imprint pressure is measured at regular time intervals near each of the injection points, and a safety procedure is triggered when the pressure difference between the opposite injection points exceeds a predetermined threshold. An independent claim is also included for a mold for manufacturing a tank of a waste collection container.
