The present invention provides a system for detecting an obstacle, which comprises a second distance measuring unit to transmit a first sensing signal and a second sensing signal, and to receive a first measurement signal to which the first sensing signal is reflected and returned and a second measurement signal to which the second sensing signal is reflected and returned; and an obstacle detecting unit to measure a signal reflection position by using the first measurement signal and the second measurement signal and to detect the obstacle by using the signal reflection position.
