The invention relates to a side-gusseted bag having two front walls (1) which are joined by means of a side gusset (2a) at a longitudinal side provided with a reclosure (5), wherein the side gusset (2a) is folded-over outwards in the region of the reclosure (5) in such a manner that the side gusset (2a) ends at its folded-over section (6) at the associated longitudinal side and wherein the reclosure (5) running in the longitudinal direction is fastened to an inner surface (9) of the side gusset (2a) at the folded-over section (6).
