Provided is a method of manufacturing a stainless steel which can prevent formation of inclusion to reduce a surface defect. A method of manufacturing a stainless steel according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of injecting mixed gas into a molten metal to remove carbon from the molten metal; putting a deoxidizer containing silicon into the molten metal to remove oxygen from the molten metal; injecting inert gas into the molten metal and mixing the molten metal to adjust the components thereof and thus to produce the final molten metal; and taking out the final molten metal.
