A biodegradable aliphatic polyester film is provided to ensure excellent biodegradability, mechanical properties and easy-tear characteristics so that a finished product is easily cut without forming notches. A biodegradable aliphatic polyester film having easy opening characteristics is formed of a polylactic acid polymer having a melting point of 140 deg.C or higher and a D-lactide content of 12% or less, and has a crystallinity of 35%-60%, an elongation in the machine direction of 70% or less, a strength of 5 kgf/mm^2 in the machine direction, and a biodegradability of 90% or higher. The film has a heat shrinkage of 5% or less at 100 deg.C for 5 minutes. |
