The cleaning apparatus (1) comprises a pre-purifying stage (4) that is connected with a metallurgic plant (2) by a connection line (3). The pre-purification of the flue gas takes place in the pre-purifying stage using the water. The fine cleaning of the flue gas is enabled in a main treatment stage (6). The conduit units (7,7.1,7.2) are connected with the pre-purifying stage by a connection line (5) so that the flue gas is accelerated and promoted toward the main treatment stage. An independent claim is included for method for cleaning for flue gas of metallurgic plant.
