The present invention provides a flat panel display device which includes a liquid crystal panel having a discharge electrode on the upper side thereof; a guide panel supporting the liquid crystal panel; a lower case combined with the lower side of the guide panel; and a conductive tape which is in contact with one side of the discharge electrode or is arranged near the discharge electrode and discharges static electricity to the lower case.
