PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide patterned paper which has fine visibility of a pattern, is superior in design and printed image quality, and is adequate for inkjet recording.SOLUTION: Patterned paper is formed by forming an inkjet ink receiving layer containing an inorganic pigment and a binder on a base paper containing a pattern organizer. The base paper is made mainly of pulp, and has the pattern organizer exposed on one surface of the base paper. The inkjet ink receiving layer is formed on at least one surface of the base paper on which the pattern organizer is exposed. The inkjet ink receiving layer contains the inorganic pigment of fine grains which include secondary particles having a volume average particle diameter of 500 nm or less and accounts for 50 to 80 mass% of the inkjet ink receiving layer. The inkjet receiving layer has a full light transmittance defined in JIS K 7105: 1981 of 90% or more. |
