Device for holding a mobile unit

The device (1) has a shaft provided with an aperture, whose dimensions are identical to dimensions of a surface of a mobile unit. A wireless interface is provided for data exchange between the device and the mobile unit. A plate (6) is movable within the shaft. A locking-and unlocking mechanism (8) is provided for detachable locking of the plate within the shaft in a position, when no mobile unit is held in the device and for releasing the plate, when the plate is brought in operative interaction with the mobile unit.
