A glazing strip 20 comprises at least two seal elongate bodies 30, 32 arranged side by side and being foldably connected to one another along adjacent facing sides, each body 30, 32 being extruded from a flexible polymer. The strip 20 is convertible from a flat condition to a U shaped channel condition by folding the elongate bodies 30, 32 relative to one another about their foldable connection. The bodies 30, 32 in said flat condition of the strip 20 in cross-section lie in a common flat plane and in said channel condition of the strip 20 in cross-section lie in different planes to define a glazing accommodating channel. The strip may have V shaped surface grooves 29 located at the fold points. It may be manufactured out of a ceramifiable polymer for example polyolefin to give the strip fire resistant properties. The polyolefin may be ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM). |
