The present invention relates to the use of stannylenes and germylenes of general formula (1) wherein: M represents a tin or germanium atom; Li1 and Li2 represent independently on each other a group of the general formula: -Ei14(Ri14)(R´i14)(R´´i14), -Ei15(Ri15)(R´i15) or -Ei16(Ri16), or together they form a chain of the general formula -L'1-A-L'2; A represents a saturated or unsaturated chain comprising one, two or three elements of the group 14; L'1 and L'2, represent, independently on each other, a group of the general formula: -E14(R14)(R'14)-, E15(R15)- or -E16-; E14 denotes an element of the group 14; E15 represents an element of the group 15; E16 denotes an element of the group 16; Ri14, R´i14, R´´i14, Ri15, R´i15 and Ri16 represent independently on each other a hydrogen atom, one of the following substituted or unsubstituted radicals: alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl, wherein the said substituent is a halogen atom or the residue alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, nitro or cyano; the residue of the general formula -Ei14RR´R´´; E´i14 represents an element of the group 14; R, R´ and R´´ represent independently on each other a hydrogen atom or one of the following substituted (with one or more identical or different) substituents or unsubstituted radicals: alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, wherein the said substituent denotes a halogen atom or a residue alkyl, aryl, nitro or cyano; as polymerization catalysts of heterocycles. |
