<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hydrogen generator of a fuel cell system from generating an excessive thermal stress without excessively increasing manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen generator of the fuel cell system includes a reformer 11 equipped with: a reforming part 17 surrounded by an outer wall 21 and a partition plate 22 which is fixed by the outer wall 21 and housing a catalyst 23 which causes a hydrocarbon-based fuel and steam to generate a steam reforming reaction; and a combustion part 16 provided facing the partition plate 22 and generating heat. A thermometer 61 for measuring the point of the combustion part 16 side of the partition plate 22 and a thermometer 62 for measuring the point inside the reforming part 17 are provided. A controlling device 60 closes valves 63 and 64 and reduces the heating value per unit time of the combustion part 16 when the difference between the temperatures measured by the thermometers 61 and 62 is higher than the reference temperature difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
