PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a fuel cell catalyst which improves both an alloying degree of an alloy carried by a carrier and a percentage content of a metal to be alloyed for platinum.SOLUTION: The present invention is characterized in implementing: a first step for adsorbing a platinum ion by performing ion-exchange reaction between a first mixture containing carbon and cation exchange resin and the platinum ion; a second step for hydrogen-reducing a second mixture obtained by implementing the first step; a third step for adsorbing a cation of a transition metal to the cation-exchange resin contained in a third mixture by performing ion-exchange reaction between the third mixture obtained by implementing the second step, an anion selected from a chlorine ion, a sulfate ion and a nitrate ion and a solution containing the cation of the transition metal selected from cobalt, nickel and iron; and a fourth step for hydrogen-reducing the cation of the transition metal in a fourth mixture obtained by implementing the third step. |
