The present invention relates to a method for producing α-methylenelactone, wherein the method comprises a step of performing the carbonylation reaction of alkynol under the presence of a catalyst in which a platinum group element is dipped, a ligand including a phosphorous atom, and carbon monoxide, and the turn of number (TON) of the catalyst in which a platinum group element is dipped is 1,000 to 25,000. Using the minimum quantity of catalyst, α-methylenelactone can be produced. The catalyst can be easily collected so that the catalyst can be reused for continuous processes. |
