<p>The invention comprises a method pertaining to an air conditioning system for a vehicle, comprising:
a) measuring the time t since an approved period of operation of the air conditioning system,
b) comparing the measured time t with a predetermined first interval t 1 ,
c) activating the air conditioning system if the measured time exceeds said predetermined interval t 1 . The method preferably comprises also:
d) measuring current ambient temperature T,
e) comparing the measured ambient temperature with a predetermined temperature limit Tt,
and activation of the air conditioning system is effected if condition c) is fulfilled and if
f) the current ambient temperature exceeds, and has exceeded, the predetermined temperature limit T t for at least a predetermined second interval t 2 .</p> |
