PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical bearing structure which can be enlarged without increasing equipment for swaging and also damaging a conventional function, a method for manufacturing a spherical bearing, and a butterfly valve using the spherical bearing. SOLUTION: In the spherical bearing structure having a race formed with an annular concave on the inner circumference and an inside ball disposed inside the race with the outer circumference spherically formed, and having been formed such that the outer circumference of the inside ball is in surface contact with the inner circumference of the race, the race includes a pair of half annular concave formed bodies made into half so as to allow it to be mutually divided into half and fixing means for detachably integrating and fixing the pair of half annular concave formed bodies to form the annular concave.
