PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine, capable of attracting a player to a game while enhancing the player's interest on the game without reducing the player's expectation when a step-up performance for successively displaying a plurality of types of character images is performed. SOLUTION: The game machine has correspondence relationships determining correspondences between a plurality of character images each including information on a type of character and display attribute thereof and a plurality of timings for performing a unit game, the relationships being a first correspondence relationship in which the plurality of character images are determined relative to the plurality of timings respectively and a second correlation relationship that is a correlation relationship between the plurality of character images and the plurality of timings differed from the first correlation relationship. An image display means displays, while the unit game is performed, at least one of an image of a first corresponding character based on the first correlation relationship and an image of a second corresponding character based on the second correlation relationship at least one predetermined timing of the plurality of timings.
