PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust recovery device which captures fine dust without using a filter and a self-propelled cutting machine equipped with the dust recovery device. SOLUTION: A dust recovery device comprises: a suction duct 21 having one end fitted to a cutting drum chamber 7 and sucking dust; a cyclone part 22 to which the other end of the suction duct 21 is fitted; a swirling flow formation tower 24 which forms a swirling flow of air subjected to dust removal by the cyclone part and derives the swirling flow of air; an injection nozzle 25 which sprays mist-like water to the swirling flow of air derived from the swirling flow formation tower; exhaust ports 26a, 26b which discharge water sprayed by the injection nozzle to any one or both of a first belt conveyor and a second belt conveyor; and a fan 28 which sucks from the cutting drum chamber via a suction duct, forms a spiral flow in the cyclone part, and forms the swirling flow in the swirling flow formation tower.
