The purpose of the present invention is to provide an orthodontic bracket. A process in which a holder for supporting an orthodontic wire is attached to or detached from a base fixed to a tooth through an adhesive is very rapidly and conveniently performed, and a process in which the orthodontic wire is fixed by means of the holder is strongly performed, so that a procedure for orthodontics can be very conveniently performed. Rotational force generated using the orthodontic wire as a shaft can be firmly applied to the base fixed to a tooth by means of the strong fixation of the orthodontic wire. Moreover, the rotational force of the orthodontic wire can be minutely adjusted so that a tooth is not jarred and can be gradually corrected in position. The orthodontic bracket of the present invention comprises: a base fixed to a tooth through an adhesive; and a holder which is formed on the base in order to be capable of being attached and detached so as to fix and support an orthodontic wire. The holder is formed using a steel wire, which can be elastically deformed, and comprises: an attaching and detaching unit for being attached to and detached from a base; an operating unit formed to protrude continuously after the attaching and detaching unit; and a wire fixing unit which is equipped in the operating unit, is formed in a particular length in a connected direction of the orthodontic wire, and has a fixing hole formed to enable the orthodontic wire to be inserted therein. The base includes an attachment and detachment fixing unit in which the attaching and detaching unit of the holder is inserted and fixed. |
