The device has a retaining bracket comprising an elongated angle shaped metallic profile with a cavity support for anchoring an upper maintaining unit i.e. upper manifold. A movable hook (19) is pivotably mounted between inactive raised positions for retaining a lower maintaining unit i.e. lower manifold. A locking unit comprises a blocking stud (22) that is movable along an oblong opening (21) of the profile. The locking unit obtains triggered locking of a radiator in a manual or automatic mode during installation of the radiator on the retaining bracket.
