An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for improving voice or video transmission quality in the cloud computing mode, where the method mainly includes: performing, by a cloud client , media negotiation with a communication peer end according to obtained media negotiation information of a corresponding local client ; and establishing, according to a result of the media negotiation, a media channel between the local client and the communication peer end to perform voice or video transmission. An embodiment of the present invention further provides a corresponding cloud client and a corresponding local client. According to the method disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention, two client ends work collaboratively and a media channel is established on the local client, thereby ensuring voice or video transmission quality in the cloud computing mode. |
