The present invention relates to a hybrid wall system and an operation method thereof. The wall system includes: a video/audio output device which includes one or more display devices and a speaker device; a network video source device which transmits a source data packet including at least one of a video source and an audio source through a network; a digital/analog video source device which transmits a source signal including at least one of a video signal and an audio signal through a physical cable; and a wall server which is connected to the network video source device through the network to communicate therewith, is connected to the digital/analog video source device through the physical cable to communicate therewith, converts at least one of the source data packet and the source signal such that the video/audio output device can output at least one of the source data packet and the source signal and transmits the same to the video/audio output device. According to the present invention, a video input mode through the network can be used to construct the wall system without using a high-priced video device for inputting a video.
