In a liquid crystal display panel according to one embodiment of the present invention, a cell gap is maintained by a column spacer which is located between a first substrate and a second substrate. The first substrate includes a data line of a vertical direction, a gate line of a transverse direction, a pixel defined in a matrix by the intersection of the data line and the gate line, a TFT which is arranged in each pixel and switches a data voltage, a protection layer which covers the data line, the gate line, and the TFT, a color filter which is formed on the protection layer, and a black matrix which is formed on the color filter and defines a display region and a non-display region. The second substrate includes a burying hole to receive the column spacer. The column spacer maintaining the cell gap is formed between the first substrate and the second substrate. When the first substrate is bonded to the second substrate, the column spacer is received in the burying hole.
