The method involves forming three-dimensional tubular knitted fabric (1) with contact surface (30), opposed surface (31) and two side surfaces (32,33) on one surface side of base (2). The base is knitted and row of branched stitch portions branching-off from the base is formed. The main portion is knitted in the wale direction of the branched stitch portions, using knitting needle. The opposed surface and two side surfaces of tubular knitted fabric are knitted by knitting the base. |
