The present invention provides an apparatus and a method for switching a view-mode of a rear-view mirror display for parking a vehicle with a three-dimensional AVM. The apparatus for switching the view-mode of the rear-view mirror display for parking the vehicle with the three-dimensional AVM comprises: a rear-view mirror display which is built in the rear-view mirror; a transmission control unit which measures the gear level of the vehicle; an ABS control unit which measures the speed of the vehicle; a panorama image creating unit which creates a panorama image of the surroundings of the vehicle; and an AVM image creating unit which creates an AVM image in order to show on the rear-view mirror display based on the panorama image. The AVM image creating unit switches the view-mode of the AVM image in response to the gear level and speed information of the vehicle.
