The present invention relates to a system and a method for controlling strip deviation. According to the present invention, the system for controlling strip deviation includes: a camber measuring unit measuring camber information on a rolled steel strip; a strip deviation measuring unit measuring strip deviation information on the rolled steel strip; a calculating unit calculating width-direction asymmetrical information on the steel strip from the information measured by the camber measuring unit and the strip deviation measuring unit; and a controller calculating a roll level value of the rolled steel strip by the asymmetrical information. Further, the present invention relates to a hot rolling apparatus having the system for controlling strip deviation.
