The present invention relates to a touch sensing apparatus and a touch sensing method. The touch sensing apparatus includes: a touch sensor including a plurality of scan lines and a plurality of read-out lines; and a touch controller for driving the touch sensor by applying driving pulses to the scan lines and sensing a touch by measuring read-out signals from the read-out lines. The touch controller non-sequentially applies the driving pulses to the scan lines.
