<p>In the present invention, disclosed are medium carbon martensitic stainless steel whose hardness, corrosion resistance, and processability are improved and a manufacturing method thereof. The weight of the present invention contains one or more of 0.4-0.5 wt% of C, 0.05-0.15 wt% of N, 13.0-15.0 wt% of Cr, 0.1-1.0 wt% of Si, 0.1-1.0 wt% of Mn, 1.0 wt% or less of Ni (excluding 0 wt%), 0.1-2 wt% of W, and 0.1-2 wt% of Mo, and remaining amount of Fe and other inevitable impurities. The distribution of chrome carbide microstructure of less than 4μm existed within the structure of the martensitic stainless steel is more than or equal to 60/100μm^2 and the microstructure is heat treated to make the elongation thereof be 18% or more.</p> |
