analyzing a determination value of the posture detecting sensor; anddetermining whether an analysis result of the determination value of the posture detecting sensor indicates the motion in which the user brings the portable terminal to the ear, wherein the analyzing of the determination value of the posture detecting sensor comprises:
identifying whether the determination value of the posture detecting sensor is changed; andtracking an amount of change when the determination value of the posture detecting sensor is changed to identify whether the determination value of the posture detecting sensor is converged into a reference range; and connecting the call upon detecting the motion.
