PURPOSE: An augmented reality(AR) display device and a method thereof are provided to supply various desired information to a user without additional manipulation by determining information based on an image photographed by a camera. CONSTITUTION: An information determining unit(220) determines information to be provided to a user based on an image photographed by a camera and a direction of a camera(210). A location tracking unit(230) tracks a location of an AR display device(100). A path generating unit(240) generates a path from the generated location information to location information of a POI(Point Of Interest). An AR display unit(260) displays the determined information on the image in AR.
