The present invention relates to a novel compound, and more specifically, to a novel alpha-cubebenate compound isolated from schisandra chinensis and a separation method thereof. The novel alpha-cubebenate compound of the present invention can be effectively used as a natural material separated from schisandra chinensis and in a case of separating the novel alpha-cubebenate compound from schisandra chinensis using a separation method of the present invention, a high-purity separation of a substance, a purity of which is 98% or greater, is possible, thereby enabling high productivity gain, an aspect through which industrial applicability is expected. |
