The present invention relates to surface treatment of a substrate containing a metal, such as magnesium, magnesium alloy, aluminum, aluminum alloy, titanium, titanium alloy, copper, or copper alloy, which is easily subjected to surface oxidization, including the steps of: heating an alcohol-based or ketone-based passive state liquid, which is filled in a reservoir, by thermal temperature for passivation; and depositing a metal substrate in the alcohol-based or ketone-based passive state liquid for 1 to 15 minutes or 1 to 59 seconds, thereby forming a passive state layer on the surface of the substrate by reaction of the alcohol-based or ketone-based passive state liquid heated by the passivated thermal temperature. |
