The present invention relates to a wiper device for a work roll which includes a supporting frame arranged between a cooling header and a pathway for transferring a strip around a work roll; a wiper blade which is installed on one end portion of the supporting frame, closely contacts a work roll, and is provided to prevent cooling water, sprayed from the cooling header onto the work roll, from contacting the strip; and a cooling means capable of removing impurities which is installed on one side of the wiper blade, cools the wiper blade, and removes impurities inserted between the wiper blade and the work roll. According to the present invention, the wiper device can uniformly cool the entire wiper blade and can remove impurities on a surface where the work roll contacts the wiper blade. |
