METHOD FOR CONTOLLING POWER SAVING OF NUMERICAL CONTROL MACHINE

The present invention relates to a method for controlling power saving of a numerical control machine tool, which reduces power by cutting off power supply for control devices that are unnecessarily operated at a non-processed time when a device is not processed during operation of a numerical machine tool. The present invention includes steps of checking whether power saving mode is set or not for a machine tool; checking whether the machine tool is in a stationary state or not; checking whether a random input signal is received from a main console or a numerical console when the machine tool is in a stationary state; and cutting off power supply for the machine tool when the input signal from the main console and the numerical console is not input longer than the predetermined period of time.
