Provided is a smart key device capable of having a single smart key main body recognize different smart cards with different authorities for each user in order to allow each user to operate an excavator to the extent corresponding to his or her authority. The smart key device for operating an excavator according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a smart card in which information about the authority of a user to operate an excavator is embedded; and a smart key main body for authenticating the smart card, reading out the user authority information from the smart card, and setting the operation authority of the excavator. |
