An embodiment of the present invention relates to an automatic tool changer for a machine tool. The automatic tool changer for a machine tool according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a tool which includes a body unit with a grip groove on the outer circumference side, a processing unit protruding out from one side of the body unit with a stepped portion to touch a workpiece, and a shank unit protruding out from the other side of the body unit and being inserted in the spindle of a machine tool; a tool magazine on which multiple grip assemblies including a first grip unit held on the stepped portion between the body unit of the tool and the processing unit as well as a second grip unit arranged on the first grip unit to cover a part of the outer circumference side of the shank unit of the tool are arranged to be able to move; and a tool changer which has a finger unit covering a part of the outer circumferential side of the body unit of the tool and having a grip bump to be inserted into the grip groove and exchanges the tool between the multiple grip assemblies of the tool magazine and the spindle of the machine tool. |
