METHOD FOR PRODUCING HIGHLY PURE ANHYDROSUGAR ALCOHOLS WITH IMPROVED YIELD BY USING PURIFICATION PRODUCT OF WASTE GENERATED FROM CRYSTALLIZATION PROCEDURE

The present invention relates to a technique for producing anhydrosugar alcohol using hydride sugar as a raw material and, more specifically, to a method for producing high purity anhydrosugar alcohol sequentially by adding acid in hydride sugar (e.g. hexitol) in order to be converted into anhydrosugar alcohol, by distilling a converted byproduct liquid, and by crystallizing a distilled byproduct liquid. A byproduct which is obtained by refining a crystallization mother liquor generated in a crystallization step after removing a crystallization solvent from the same is (1) added in a step of crystallizing a distilled byproduct liquid or (2) added in a refining step after the crystallizing step. Accordingly, the total yield of the anhydrosugar alcohol is increased, and the amount of generated waste and treatment costs can be reduced, so that high purity anhydrosugar alcohol can be produced with low costs and high efficiency.
